Wise Men Following the Christmas Star Coloring Page

After a long journey, the wise men see the star shining over Bethlehem and know they are close. Caramel, the youngest camel, is right in front, as excited as they are.

“When they saw the star, they were filled with joy.”

Matthew 2:10, simplified

5-minute idea: Count the stars in the picture before coloring. Give each child one gold sticker (or a yellow crayon) for the big star only, so it shines brighter than all the others. Ask: what did the wise men feel when they saw it?

A note about our story friends

Mila, Benny, Caramel, and Pip are make-believe animals. The Bible does not mention them; they help young children imagine the events and remember the lesson. The Bible verse on each page is simplified for young listeners, so feel free to use your church’s preferred translation.
